Nevada State Veterans Home Awarded for

Customer Experience from Pinnacle Quality Insight

 

(Boulder City, NV) – The Nevada State Veterans Home (NSVH) announces the 180-bed home for Veterans, spouses, and Gold Star parents has received Pinnacle Quality Insight’s 2016 Customer Experience Award.  The announcement was made today by NSVH Administrator Linda Gelinger.

Qualifying for the 22 awards in the three home ‘neighborhood wings’ in 11categories, ranging from Nursing Care, Overall Satisfaction and Cleanliness to Activities, Professional Therapy Services and Safety/Security, among others, “displays a continued dedication to providing quality, professional healthcare services and activities programs to all of our residents,” said Gelinger.

“Receiving these ‘best in class’ awards for customer satisfaction, issued by Pinnacle, gives the home a ranking based on a nationwide comparison,” added Gelinger. “This is wonderful for the home, residents and staff.”

Throughout its 14-year history of serving the community, NSVH has placed a strong emphasis on ensuring that the individual needs of every resident are met. Over the course of 2015, a sampling of Nevada State Veterans Home’s customers and their families have participated in monthly telephone interviews that include open-ended questions, as well the opportunity to rate NSVH in specific categories.

Every month, NSVH is provided its real-time survey results in order to gain a better understanding of the veterans’ and other residents’ needs and make improvements based on the feedback.

By qualifying for the Pinnacle Customer Experience Award, Gelinger noted, “the Home has satisfied the rigorous demand of scoring in the top 15 percent of the nation during the past 12-month average.”
